Easter Sunday
One of the lovely things about Josselin is that it has lots of special places.
Little places that you can wander to and then sit down for a little ponder.
Places like this that you can view along the river from one of the many places to sit.
The Girlie and I started Easter Sunday with good intentions. We had planned to go for a little walk and then eat Saturday's leftovers for tea - perhaps a spot of gardening, as well.
The walk took us past La Taverne and that was it!.
We had a hot chocolate, noticed that the special of the day was Steak and Chips followed by coffee delice and immediately decided to go for a long walk to burn off the lunch we were about to eat and... bugger the gardening!

We went along the canal until we found a lovely place where we could sit and watch the world go by.
We played a little game that we often play - Spot the English!
And then he wandered back to La Taverne and sat at pretty much the last table to be had. To say the bar was heaving would be an understatement! I would be too subtle to say that the steak was gorgeous! And the Coffee Delice - well, I'm not going to tell you about that because I don't want hordes of people descending on La Taverne eating them all before I get a chance to go back and trough again! (and it cost less than 10 euros for each of us!)
Of course, Josselin was very busy with tourists (from all over).
It looked like the church was full - but then it often is.
The Girlie and I both decided that we could become Lock Keepers and live in this lovely cottage - I could do that job, I could!
We both ended up going to bed tired but happy - another perfect day!
All the best
Keith
