Places to Visit

Comments from the author:

“Great landscapes and great weather (sometimes). The people are very friendly and Brittany's fine chiseled shore is beautiful. There are plenty of places to visit, either by the coast, or further inland...”

Because, at the moment, I'm not really fit to drive, I am unable to visit as many places as I would like to.

However; the following is a list of places that I have visited - hopefully, soon I will be well enough to go out and visit some more.

The town also has a grand photo festival in the streets throughout the summer! There is a selection of Creperies and Restaurants for the gastronomic, La Gacilly is also home to Yves Rocher the perfume and make up people, incidentally Yves Rocher himself is mayor of this town and has been for many years!

The best days to visit are Wednesday or Saturday when a massive market takes over the town. The fish market is open everyday and a visit there is a must!
