A lovely selection of wild flowers. Are they there are purpose? Some of the open areas in La Rochelle have been left so that the wild flowers flourish. Our fields are full of them right now, and yes they are so much more beautiful than the cultured ones. They are more delicate, with stems like threads. And they refuse to live in a vase of water.
