Secret Passages
There are plenty of secret passages in La Gacilly.
Some lead here and…
Some lead there.
They all have their little secrets.
They all have stories to tell.
There’s a strange little shop half way up this one.
And an apartment to rent.
You could easily walk past it and not know it was there.
I’ve probably done that hundreds of times myself.
Once discovered though…
Never forgotten.

A couple of years ago I delivered telephone directories in the part of La Rochelle where I used to live. I was amazed at the little hidden streets and gardens. One place was almost like a village. It’s always worth taking your time, you never know what might be at the end of a little path – lovely pictures
