Oh Dear

Oh dear!

The intermittent internet problems that I’ve been suffering from for the last few weeks came to a head a few days ago, when I lost my internet connection completely!

Orange are sending an engineer but not until the 20th!

I do have to say that they’ve been very good and they are going to try and route one earlier if one should be in the area.

So, whilst I may be able to prepare some BretonDiary posts offline and copy them onto a USB key for publication at the local Mediatheque, I won’t be able to do the research that is required for A Taste of Garlic.

I’d like to apologise to the 900 or so of you who manage to find your way here every day; I promise that BretonDiary will be back on line soon but possibly only after the 20th of July.

In the meantime, I shall be largely changing out of my winter LongJohns and into my summer ones!

This is a procedure that normally takes a few days, anyway!

All the best

Keith

Orange. That always reminds of the place towards the South of France where our coach trip stopped en-route to Tossa-de-Mar, once upon a time. We arrived approx. 3:00 a.m. and they extorsionately charged something like a tenner for a bacon sandwich etc..Wherever you go there’s always a story. G.
