A Family Visit
The Girlie and I moved from Josselin to La Coudrais about 5 weeks ago.
My sister Briony, her husband Rick and various of their children decided to visit Josselin for a holiday.
Was this just a coincidence, I wondered?
Rather than let them enjoy Josselin in peace, the Girlie and I (and Joshy too), decided to pay them a visit.
Finding that my brother Martin (and I guess he must be Briony's brother as well???) had already decided to pay them a visit, we realised that peace would be an unknown quantity in Josselin - for a while!
The photo above shows my brother Martin with.... surprise, surprise - a glass in his hand. It's rumoured that somewhere there exists a photo of Martin not holding a glass. If you see it, grab it quick - it's worth a bloody fortune!

Although you can't quite see the glasses in their hands, my sister Briony (here with her back to us - just in case you were about to confuse her with her hairy husband) and Rick, her hairy husband, are almost certainly holding a glass of something nice.
Here they were captured enjoying a rare second of childlessness (for that - read peace and quiet = happiness) at the Saturday morning market at Josselin.
We tried our hardest to lose the children there but.... unfortunately, they found us!
This is Martha - one of Briony's daughters.
It's hard to be sure but, I don't actually think that she is talking here. Hard to believe I know - but, if that is the case, it'll be a first!
In a vain attempt to keep her quiet, I challenged her to a game of Swingball. Oh what pleasure I got from totally annihilating an eleven year old girl!
Martha's mother - the aforementioned Briony, wisely stayed near the bottle with some knitting to keep her quiet.
I did try to explain that a Spurs scarf needed to be dark blue and white but, being a girlie, I don't think that my sister understood!
I do find that football is quite a complex concept for the girlies to comprehend.
Well, here's me being energetic and beating my eleven year old niece at Swingball.
And for any of you from the Geneva Convention - Yes, I did make her play with the sun in her eyes!
I shall long remember the eight nil victory (or, was it nine?)
On the Friday evening, we all went out to La Table d'O for a stupendous meal - Many thanks, Martin.
I had Salmon followed by a mixture of bits of dead pig. All cooked to perfection and washed down with champagne and a very good Sancerre.
I can heartliy recommend La Table d'O - they also do a great lunchtime menu for a very reasonable price.
Meanwhile - back in the real world, work continues on various websites - www.Favicons4Free.com is ready to roll and I have a few more in the pipeline.
If anyone reading this has a Blogger Blog, you might want to take a look at www.Favicons4Free.com for free (and easy to use), Favicons.
Back to reality now. Below are some of the photos we have taken.
