The Garden
Comments from the author:
I don't try to pretend that I'm the world's greatest gardener.
I do, though, like to be able to sit out in the garden, surrounded by flowers and read and ponder.
My garden is quite small and I aim to keep it as minimal maintenance as possible - whilst I love buying plants, looking after them is a chore that I don't enjoy so much.
As well as the flowers, I also grow (or attempt to grow), courgettes, tomatoes, herbs (lots of herbs) and peppers (although, I think there might also be some aubergines hiding away somewhere, as well!)
Below, are some photos of my garden (many of which have been taken by the Girlie - who is a better photographer, and gardener, than me.)

Epilogue
I was lucky enough to inherit some roses, when I moved in here five years ago.
Every year, my landlord trims them right back.
Every year, my landlady complains that he's cut them back too much.
Every year, they flower beautifully!
