One Response to “Komz a rez brezhoneg?”
We bought a little Breton phrase book on our recent trip and enjoyed comparing the language to our own native Welsh. Nice to see the bi-lingual signs, too.
Joke(s)….Having many local yokel rural areas it was no great wonder to see ‘Dai the Farm’ a-chewin’ on his bit o’ straw and a-leanin’ on his gate, like. Up comes a millionaire American ranch owner and asks, “Arrr you from around here, old man?” ‘It seems like I am, like, innit?”, answers Dai. “Well, do you know where Llanfaircaereinion is?” ‘No, I don’t, like!’ “Well, do you know where….1/2/3 etc… are?” ‘No, no idea, my friend’, answers Dai. “Well, you don’t know much, do you, old man?” ‘Well, I knows I’m not lost, don’t I!’
So the Yank tells Dai that he owns a ranch which takes him all day to drive around, yes at least a whole day! So Dai replies, “Yes, I’ve got a car like that, too!!” G.
