St Patrick's Day Celebrations - La Taverne, Josselin
On Saturday night the Girlie dragged me, kicking and screaming, to the St. Patrick Day's celebrations at the Bar Restaurant La Tavene in Josselin.
Actually, I don't think I protested too much!
The owners of the Bar, Fabien and Sandra, really pulled out all the stops to ensure that the night was a success.
Although there were many English customers, the French who were there seemed to really enjoy themselves as well - the general conclusion was that there was an excellent ambience!

The pictures really do say it so well. Fabien gave away lots of tee shirts, many people were wearing silly hats - even the dog got signwritten.
Now, what more could you ask for - than a signwritten dog?
Well, Freddie Mercury, perhaps?
A guy called Jean Claude decided to dress up as Freddie Mercury - not sure what that had to do with St. Patrick's day but the girlies seemed to enjoy it.
I believe that theme nights are going to be a monthly event at La Taverne. If so, I'll be sure to go along.
Who know, next time I might even shave!
