Roast Lamb for tea - a perfect day!
Because I've been a good boy recently, the Girlie offered to cook dinner last night.
Because lamb was on special offer at the supermarket, lamb it had to be!
Also, as we've got things planned for today and are going to the Girlie's house tomorrow morning (she's got someone coming round to see it - hopefully a buyer), we decided to have Sunday Lunch on Saturday night.
Thus, I was banished from the kitchen (the Girlie used a Gordon Ramsay phrase; something along the lines of... Get the Fork out of my kitchen! or something like that!)
Roast Lamb for Tea - a perfect day!
So all in all, it was a perfect day - I got to go to the market and meet new friends in the morning, laze around in the garden during the afternoon (pretending to work on my book) and then have someone slave away over a hot stove just to feed me in the evening.

A little drinkie....
I'm glad to see that the Girlie is following in the bestest of cullinary traditions by augmenting her hard work in the kitchen with an obligatory little drinkie!
Once again, the jacket that she is wearing is one that Marco Pierre White left here the last time he popped over for some cullinary advice.
I know that he's a nice guy and all that but he was on the phone for over an hour today, asking the Girlie for help and assistance on how to make the perfect Hot Cross Bun!
I'm going to have to have words with him; there are limits to being helpful, after all.
All the best
Keith
P.S. Although she is perfect in almost every way, the Girlie is of the feminine persuasion (as I'm sure you've noticed) and, as a result, does have problems with those mechanical things that are better left to us men - I'm thinking corkscrews here!
