Scallops and Salmon
As I've been feeling better, the last few days, I decided to celebrate and cook for the Girlie.
The Girlie had never eaten scallops before, so that was going to be on the menu.
I fancied Salmon for the main course.
The nice thing about cooking scallops and salmon is that they are so easy to cook and, the less you do to them, the better they taste!
Scallops and Salmon
The scallops just needed a minute each side in butter and oil, and they were done. The salmon was cooked for 7 minutes in the oven.
Rice, salad and veg are easy - and that's all there was to it! I do have to admit that the lemon butter sauce came from a packet - but then, I'm only human, after all (and if I had made my own, there wouldn't have been any time for that chef's perk - a little drinkie poos!)

And the jacket....
The chef's jacket that I'm wearing is one that Marco Pierre White left here the last time that he popped over for some culinary advice.
Now, I know that he's a great cook and a nice guy but he can be a bit of a pest, always phoning me up to ask my advice.
Perhaps I ought to consider charging him?
All the best
Keith
