If you have a story to tell (or, an experience that you'd like to share), but don't want to go through the hassle of setting up your own website (and, in some cases, the expense of doing so), for a one off (or occasional) article - feel free to allow me to publish it here.

Even if you do have your own website but would like to publish an article on this site (with a link back to your own site), I'd be more than happy to accommodate you.

Perhaps you have moved over here, have renovated a property and started a business - let people know; tell your story here and link back to your commercial site so that visitors here can find out what it is that you do.

Perhaps you've been to a festival or fete and have taken some photos that you would like to share with others. Or, perhaps you've been over here for a holiday and would like to let other visitors to this site know what you got up to and what a great time you had.

All you need to do is jot down a few words (anywhere between 200 and 1,000 words seems to be the right length but, you be the judge of that), attach any photos that you want to be displayed and let me know.

I find that it helps just to talk out loud to an imaginary reader - and then write down what you've just said. That tends to make the text flow (just as it would in a normal conversation), and also makes it easier to find the right words (but then, what do I know?)

Don't worry too much about spelling or grammar - I'm pretty hopeless at both of those, these days. Thus, every article will be proofread and corrected (if needs be.)

To submit your contribution, just email it (in any format, using whatever wordprocessor/text editor you prefer), attach any photos that you wish to be displayed (I prefer them at 800px X 600px but larger is better than smaller.) Don't worry too much about your photos, I'll resize them so that they fit the page.

Your article (and photos) will be posted in the relevant section of this site in the same format as the other articles on this site.) I shall check with you first to ensure that you are happy with the way the article is going to look.
