Cindy certainly seems to think so.

She found a spot of sunlight (perhaps the only one in the whole of Brittany?) and…

Decided to lie there, on the Girlie’s desk, to…

Keep an eye on what the Girlie was up to.

She’s been really rather cute and affectionate this winter…

Not at all normal for her?

Perhaps she’s getting old?

Of course, I wouldn’t dare to suggest that to her!

After all, she is a lady…

And one should never discuss a lady’s age!

Over at A Taste of Garlic, we’ve got another competition running today!

This time it’s for a free copy of Marilyn Z. Tomlins’ book… Die in Paris.

If you’re interested in winning this book, all you have to do is head over to A Taste of Garlic and leave a comment detailing a particularly scary time you’ve had in France. It could be funny, sad, sickening or insightful. Hopefully it will be really rather frightening! You don’t have to have been chased down the streets of Paris by an axe wielding serial killer but, if that sort of thing happens to you, tell us all about it and you might just win a copy of Marilyn’s book!

Spotted in Paris

Following a mention on my other site (A Taste of Garlic), Mr Tomato King wrote an impassioned post about the relative virtues of the VeloSolex as compared to the Citroen 2CV.

Now, I’d never let on to Mr Tomato King but… I am rather fond of VeloSolexes as they really are the two wheeled equivalent of the Citroen 2CV!

I do, however, suspect that Steve (the aforementioned Mr Tomato King) might already know about my fondness for that particular form of two wheeled transport as he seems to have photographed me burning rubber on one in downtown Paris!

It’s well worth a visit to Mr Tomato King as the post contains images of Steve McQueen on a Solex (that’s got to be photoshopped!) as well as images of a nun on one and two rather friendly girls riding those two wheeled advertisements for the best of French Chic design (after the Citroen 2CV, that is!)

And the only thing that I can really say is….

Get your motor runnin’

Head out on the highway

Lookin’ for adventure

I’m starting to get excited!

We beat them 1-0 away, last May…

Surely we can beat them at home next week?

Just don’t expect any sense out of me if we lose….

The FourteenYearOld (who seems to have, during the last week, somehow to have evolved from the creature we used to know as the ThirteenYearOld) knows to knock on the door when he comes into our office.

Even though it’s next door to his bedroom, I may be on the phone to a client or, the FourteenYearOld’s mother (usually known as The Girlie) and I may be discussing such strange things as “distributed file processing” or “server side scripting.”

We don’t like interruptions when we’re doing weird and kinky things like that!

We were, however, both flabbergasted when the FourteenYearOld, having heard strange (and I promise you, work related) groans and moans from the office asked us….

“Are you mating?”

Exactly what are they teaching them at school these days?

And, can I sit in on a lesson or two, and just look at the pictures?
