Well, it’s official… We’re crap!
We beat Hearts 5-0 and then…
Lose 3-0 to Man U!
We’re bottom of the league and, really….
That sort of flatters us!
And just think….
There’s another 9 months….
Of this pain and misery, ahead of us!
All the best

Hearts 0 – Spurs 5!
So, there is a God…
And he does support Spurs…
Which is what many of us suspected all along!
I wonder what the second leg (at White Hart Lane) will bring?
Still, we’ll have to wait for that…
We’re due to be thrashed by Man U. on Saturday!

Well, 2 days into the new season and Spurs are in their rightful place…
4th from bottom!
The optimists might suggest that all is well as they haven’t conceded any goals…
To which the pessimists would only retort that they haven’t scored any either!
All I can say is that their game on Saturday ( against Everton) was postponed due to riots (which is a pretty unusual excuse?) and they are due to lose to Man U. at Old Trafford next Saturday!
We’ve also got a chance to lose to Heart of Midlothian on Thursday in some sort of play off for the Europa League (whatever that is?)
And from then on it looks a pretty hard season with our first chance of a victory coming when we play Fulham at home (White Hart Lane) on the 13th of May. Which is, funnily enough, the last game of the season!
So, another 9 months of misery and grief before I can relax again!

Spurs 0 – Milan 0
We only needed a draw to win!
And you know what….
That’s what we got!
We are now through to the quarter finals for the first time since the 1961-62 season.
In other words….
Glory days are here again!
COYS!

Chelsea 2 – Man United 1
Normally I couldn’t give a monkey’s about Chelsea or Man U!
But I did (for once) want Man U. to win….
And the were 1-0 up!
But then they let those Sarf Lunnon buggers at Chelsea win!
And that means….
Spurs are now in fifth place rather than fourth!
I am planning to become a Buddhist and hope that….
In my next existence I get to support a decent team…. like Aldershot!

Blackpool 3 – Spurs 1
I had a bad feeling about this match!
And you know what….
I was right!
We were pathetic – we we terrible! We were the Spurs of old!
In other words….
Spurs were CRAP!

So, a couple of weeks ago we had finished shopping and, on the way home, the car developed a serious problem and, for no explicable reason, turned off the main road and steered itself into Bains sur Oust where it came to a halt just outside the Sports Bar!
I’ve checked the car over thoroughly but I can’t find why it did that?
Anyway, as the Girlie and I were thirsty we decided to pop into the bar for a nice mug of Ovaltine.
The bar was all out of Ovaltine so we had to make do with a beer instead!
Tuesday 15th January, 2011
Milan 0 – Spurs 1
A goal by Peter Crouch got us a useful 3 points in the first (away) leg of the last 16 in the Champions League!
And you know what….
We’ll mullah the wops when they come round our gaff in March!
It was also nice to see that Chelsea only managed to draw with Fulham on Monday – which means we’re in fourth place in the Premiership and only two points behind City and we’ve got a game in hand!
Still, although it’s still a silly game, I don’t think that there’s any reason for Spurs supporters not to sing…..
Glory days are here again?

Spurs 3 – Charlton 0
I’d have been very upset if Spurs had lost to Charlton!
But we didn’t so….
That means we’re through to play Fulham at Craven Cottage in the fourth round of the FA cup.
Fulham are pretty crap but in the FA you never know!

Wednesday 5th January, 2010
Everton 2 – Spurs 1
Well all good things had to come to and end and, last night, Spurs’ winning run also came to an end!
A 2-1 defeat by Everton wasn’t what I’d really hoped for but….
Luckily, Chelsea (oh dear, what is happening there?) also lost so that Spurs stay in 4th place.
We’ve got Charlton at the weekend in the FA Cup (and they are crap, aren’t they?) and I’m hoping that David Beckham will be there to help steer us to another victory!
And we mustn’t forget that if we stay in 4th place in the league, we’re in for another year of European football next year – speaking of which, we are also top of our group in the Champions League!
4th place in the Premiership, still in the FA Cup, the hope of European Footie next year and Beckham coming to join us (I hope and pray) – is it too soon to say…..
Glory days are here again?

Spurs 2 – Newcastle 0
Down to ten men once again, we managed to keep our first clean sheet since the first match of the season and beat the Magpies to take us to 4th place!
Surely this is proof positive of the existence of a kind and caring God!
I’m just hoping that Chelsea and Bolton draw today (not likely, even though Chelsea are playing like a bunch of muppets at the moment), so that Spurs stay in 4th place.
But then I’m also hoping that Wigan beat Arsenal too!
And if both those things happen, I will definitely be found gibbering mindlessly in a foetal position in the corner of the room…. a bit like when I’ve pigged out on the chocolate liqueurs!

Sunday 26th December, 2010
Aston Villa 1 – Spurs 2
OK, it’s official! We are no longer CRAP!
Even down to ten men we managed to beat Aston Villa which finds us in 5th place in the Premiership!
I’ve looked at the fixture list and the only really difficult matches ahead are Arsenal and Man U at home, Chelsea and Man City away and home and away to AC Milan.
I’ve worked out that no matter who sines in the Arsenal/Chelsea derby tonight, if Spurs beat the magpies (and we’re at home) tomorrow (as we should – but then, with Spurs you never know!) then Spurs will go 4th from top!
I’ve even calculated that, if Spurs win all their remaining matches and all the other teams lose all of theirs, then Spurs will finish the season in the no 1 spot….
And I will probably be found gibbering mindlessly in a foetal position in the corner of the room…. a bit like when I’ve pigged out on the chocolate liqueurs!
