For ome of the FourteenYearOld’s presents….

I repaired his broken computer and….

Filled the hard disk with Zombie films!

I hope his mother doesn’t find out!

Rather than just tell him about it…

I decided to leave him some clues…

Many clues, as it turned out!

The first envelope took him into the apartment…	And from there to…..	The stereo cabinet.
Told you!	From there he was sent all over the house…	Searching for the next clue!
I think he enjoyed it?	If I’d though about it earlier I would have started writing…	And hiding clues far earlier.
July, for example!	And he could have spent all day….	Hunting down his present!

After all that pressie opening….

I didn’t half need a bit of nosh!

This year we had a selection; we all chose something we liked…

Which is why we ended up with spicy chicken wings, turkey, pork and boudin noir to go with our roast potatoes and Yorkshire puds!

The Girlie telling me to take my hat and scarf off and sit down.	I had a quick look round….	To find the biggest plate!
Doesn’t that look edible?	Children, this is what you’ll end up like if you drink alcoholic beverages! Take drugs instead!	My golly, those sprouts have worked quickly! The Girlie, about to trump!

I had a lot of trouble choosing the Girlie’s main pressie…

I knew that most of the things she wanted, I couldn’t afford…

But I’d also noticed that, over the last year, she has been taking more interest in Footie…

Even if she doesn’t understand the offside rule!

So, problem over…

I’ll get her a table top football set for Christmas…

And spend the rest of the year showing her the finer points of the glorious game!

I was a bit worried that it might not be quite romantic enough….	It was certainly the biggest box under the tree!	But then, as the Girlie is constantly reminding me….
Size doesn’t count!	The Girlie took her time opening it….	But I think she realised that it wasn’t a necklace or….

It must be Christmas as I’m probably far too busy unwrapping my pressies, wearing my Christmas cardigan, playing Subuteo (I hope that Father Christmas didn’t make a mistake and deliver it to the wrong house!) and drinking Harveys Bristol Cream to do a post today.

This post, I did yesterday (if that makes any sense.)

The FourteenYearOld and I went Christmas shopping together to buy some presents for The Girlie.

Afterwards the FourteenYearOld persuaded me to pop into the handily placed bar for a well deserved drinkypoos!

It was a good chance for me to try out the camera on the new phone that I have treated myself to…

It’s not a particularly good camera but then, I have a new(ish) camera as well…

“Mum says I’m very photogenic” the FourteenYearOld told me…

I had to agree…

When I was his age I used to break cameras just by looking at them…

I do have a feeling that the FourteenYearOld is going to be rather popular with the girlies…

If he isn’t already!
