You could have let me win!
Getting ready for The Best Boules Court in Brittany I’ve been trying to teach The Girlie how to play Boules!
The trouble is…
She beats me every time!
Obviously, it’s almost impossible to play Boules unless you’ve had a glass or three of Ricard as part of the warm up process!
I tried making The Girlie’s Ricard extra strong but… it didn’t really help!

I asked the garcon for “Ricard and limonade, s’il vous plais” a few years ago and he, and the assembled, groggy locals all looked aghast. Limonade…LIMONADE! Bloody foreigners. G.
